Article 1: Privacy Information

1. Definition of Personal Information
   "Personal information" within the scope of privacy information refers to "personal information" as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act. This includes information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual, such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions.

2. Definition of History and Attribute Information
   "History and attribute information" within the scope of privacy information refers to information other than "personal information" defined above. This includes information such as services used, products purchased, pages or advertisements viewed, search keywords, usage date and time, methods of use, usage environment, postal codes, gender, occupation, age, IP address, cookie information, location data, and device-specific identification information.

Article 2: Collection of Privacy Information

1. The Company may request personal information such as name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card number when users register for the Services. Additionally, the Company may collect transaction records and payment-related information, including personal information, from its business partners (information providers, advertisers, ad distributors, etc., collectively referred to as "partners").

2. The Company may collect history and attribute information such as services used, software utilized, products purchased, pages or advertisements viewed, search keywords, usage date and time, usage methods, and usage environment (including communication status and configuration settings of mobile devices, if applicable). This collection occurs when users use the Company's or partners' services or view pages.

4. To bill users for purchased products or services by utilizing details like product names, quantities, service types, usage periods, frequency, billing amounts, name, address, and payment-related information.
5. To simplify data entry for users by displaying registered information on input screens or transferring data to other services (including those provided by partners) upon users' instructions.
6. To deny service to users who violate the Terms of Use, attempt fraud, or act improperly, by utilizing information such as usage patterns and identification details like name and address.
7. To respond to inquiries by using necessary information, such as contact details and service usage details, to provide the Services.
8. For purposes incidental to the above.

 

Article 4: Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent, except in the following cases or as permitted by law:

1. When required by law.
2. When necessary to protect human life, health, or property, and obtaining user consent is difficult.
3. When necessary for public health or children's sound development, and obtaining user consent is difficult.

   • Categories of data provided to third parties.

The following do not constitute "provision to third parties":

1. When outsourcing all or part of personal information handling to achieve the purpose of use.
2. When personal information is transferred due to a business merger or succession.
3. When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, with prior notification to the user specifying the jointly used information, scope of use, purposes, and the name of the responsible party.

 

Article 5: Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will disclose personal information to the user without delay upon request unless:

1. It could harm the life, body, property, or rights of the user or a third party.
2. It could significantly hinder the Company's business operations.
3. It would violate other laws.

Non-personal information such as history and attribute information will generally not be disclosed.

 

Article 6: Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

Users may request correction or deletion of their personal information if it is inaccurate. Upon determining the necessity of the request, the Company will correct or delete the information and notify the user promptly.

 

Article 7: Suspension of Use of Personal Information

If a user requests suspension or deletion of personal information due to reasons such as handling beyond the scope of intended use or acquisition through improper means, the Company will investigate and take appropriate action based on the findings. If alternative measures can effectively protect the user's rights, the Company may adopt them.

 

Article 8: Changes to Privacy Policy

The Company may modify this Policy without notifying users. Unless otherwise specified, the revised Policy takes effect upon posting on this website.
